Cookie Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This policy explains how Ohmein Jewellery Co. Private Limited ("OHMEIN", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on ohmein.co.uk, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as your browser's local storage and tracking pixels. In this policy we call all of these "cookies".
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask for your permission. Only essential cookies are used until you choose. Analytics and marketing cookies are never set unless you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time.
Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They remember the items in your bag, your cookie choices, and allow secure payment. Our payment provider, Stripe, sets cookies during checkout to process payments and prevent fraud.
Analytics cookies (optional)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use our site — for example which pages are popular — so we can improve it. Google may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which usually last up to 2 years.
Marketing cookies (optional)
With your consent, we may use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and similar tools from advertising partners. These help us measure our adverts and show you relevant OHMEIN adverts on other websites and social media (known as remarketing or retargeting). Cookies such as _fbp typically last up to 3 months.
How to manage cookies
Use the "Cookie settings" link in our footer or the button above. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if essential cookies are blocked. To opt out of Google Analytics on all sites, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
